They blocked the Swedish-American Historical Society

Like, Tell me. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THAT WEBSITE (other than it has a shop)

It's litearly just Swedish-American history.

Yet I've seen scams disguised as kids games unblocked and now I have to use a proxy everytime I want to research

Oh yeah and I feel like a robot is moderating everything. Because a human adult cannot think "Oh No, Swedish-American History! Kids shouldn't be knowing that!"

Wait, don’t you use GoGuardian? I use Securly and that extension is allowed to track the physical location of your school computer. And we can’t take it off; if we could, I would take it off (since it violates students’ privacy) and put on better blocking software.
