Dear National Nordic Museum
Hello, I am Carly. I am almost 14 years old and I will give out some reasons why I would love to work here as I become older.
1st of all, I love Nordic culture. I have been loving it since I was 12, and I still love everything about it. I have an IKEA table, a shelf of Nordic books and I even have the Norway-Sweden Union flag on my wall. Also, I can name all the provinces of Sweden in one minute, I have read all 4 books in The Emigrants by Vilhelm Moberg in 2 days, I can play the Nyckelharpa but terribly, and I can speak Northern Sámi
2nd of all, it's something I can do. I don't know any easy jobs that I could do, since I'm Autistic and I don't even know why I wouldn't want a normal job, but the average NNM worker earns 120,000 to 200,000 a year. That is amazing
And lastly, I could be a good crew member. I may work as a creative advertiser or merch designer since I love to draw or I could help make animations about Nordic history and culture for the YouTube channel. Now, I plan to work here once I graduate straight out of high school, so when I turn 19. My dream university is Uppsala University, But maybe if I don't get into Uppsala University then I could work here as a 19-year-old while going to college because I don't want to see 19-year-old me working at McDonald's or something.
Please read this and hopefully, I can join your crew later :D
- Carly, future NNM employee
Also, Do you guys look at our grades from middle school, I am SO SORRY I got a 90 on that project about Scandinavian-American Immigration. I know 90 is a good grade but I was the only kid at my school who paid attention
Should I send them this letter (answer why)
