Nah, it was my best friend in early middle school (well, we had been off-and-on friends for years through elementary, simply because we didn't have the same class together) who actually ended up crushing on me. We went to hang out and go see a movie once in the theater during the summer (because free movies on Wednesdays during the summer in my old town), and when we were leaving, she handed me a pretty paper box with a love poem. Now listen, I loved her dearly, but never like that, and it made me seriously uncomfortable. So I ghosted her and never talked to her again, and ended up moving later that year

It can be especially hard to tell with asexuality and aromanticism because your young so your wondering if it’s just normal to hate romance in general or if it’s actually what you are

Yeah, and I've never really had like... An actual crush, and who knows, maybe it will change, and I will fall in love with someone. I never know, so I just try and keep it easy and say I'm straight without jumping to any conclusions :D
