Aight so GravityCentered said I should make a story about a bi girl who was crushing on two siblings and I think its sort of supposed to be some sort of competition between the siblings? Idk. This is gonna probably have at least two parts. SO ANYWAYS LET ME GET TO IT
I searched throughout the forest, calling my brother’s name.
“GABRIELLLL!” I shouted.
I had been searching for an hour. We were at the park, and I turned my back, and as soon as I spun around the 4-year-old wasn’t there. It was a pretty isolated area, considering there were no cars around but mine and the nearest building was a half a mile away, but I was still worried he could have been kidnapped. Nevertheless, without sight of any cars or people I had to assume he ran into the woods after something like a squirrel and gotten lost.
I weaved around the trees, ducking under every stick and trying not to tangle myself within the thorns around me.
“GABRIEL, PLEASE COME HERE!” I called again and again, but I still had no response.
Scared, I reached in my pocket, pulled out my phone, and called my neighbor, Veronica.
Thankfully, she answered the call.
“Hi, um, this is Daphne,” I said into the phone, “I lost my brother at the park over near the woods and I haven’t been able to find him, and uh…”
“Oh, I’m on my way right now to help,” Veronica’s melodic voice said into the phone.
“Thank you so much,” I said, relieved help was on the way.
I began to trace my steps backwards slightly, ready to see her in the next 10 minutes. Maybe a bit more ready than I should have been for this situation.
As expected, ten minutes later and another car pulls up. But not one person exits the car- two do, and they seem like they were in some sort of argument.
Taking a closer look, I could see that Veronica brought her brother, Malakai, along, and that’s exactly when I realized this would take longer than I thought.
I waved at the two frantically. “Hi! Uh, over here!”
I really should’ve called my other neighbors, I thought with a slight bitterness.
Immediately the bitterness washed away as they walked towards me, and I could make out their features, and that’s when I remembered why I called them in the first place.
Veronica was absolutely stunning- inside and out. She had silky, straight brown hair which complimented her eyes- one was grey, the other green- and it was always such a pretty sight. She almost always wore a dark palette and it stood out against her smooth skin.
Then the case of Malakai- there’s some slight differences between him and Veronica. For starters, his brown hair was curly and messy, and he had quite the jawline. He also had grey eyes, just like the one his sister had, and wore earrings daily, never failing to look well-dressed and fancy.
In short, they’re the prettiest people I’ve seen and will ever see.
Unfortunately for me, they never worked together well. There’s always something going on- and honestly, sometimes I think the fighting gets worse around me.
“Hey, so you said he got lost over here?” Veronica inquired, interrupting my train of thought.
“Oh, yes,” I replied, “At least I think?”
“GABRIEL!!” Malakai shrieked.
“Not so loud!” said Veronica.
“At least I’m helping,” Malakai smirked, and Veronica rolled her eyes.
The search began, and we ran around the trees for a half an hour, finding nothing. We had run around the entire forest.
“Oh my god, it’s hopeless,” I said, horrified I managed to lose my own brother and not be able to find him. “Gabriel!? Come here!!!”
The biggest problem of all was Gabriel was nonverbal. Mute. That was all, he could hear and see and whatnot, it just made things a bit harder.
“We’ll find him.” I felt a hand on my shoulder. Looking up, I could see it was Veronica.
“Worst comes to worst we’ll call the cops,” Veronica assured.
I was trying not to cry as I nodded and began another search around the trees.
