Let’s assume at least one of these things are true. Savor it for future you, you’ll appreciate it, because these are good feelings!
You should be grateful because:
-You don’t have a stuffy nose and can breathe
-You don’t have a sore throat
-You don’t have a migraine or headache
-You aren’t hungry
-You either aren’t tired or have the ability to climb in bed right now
-You don’t have a stressful even coming up within the next month
-Your birthday is coming up soon
-You have a friend to hang with and you actually can hang with them
-You’ll never be in your current grade again
-Or maybe you’re out of school for a break
-You have something fun to look forward to
-You aren’t stressed
-You can sit and chill right now
-Your body doesn’t hurt somewhere
-You don’t have to go to the doctor or dentist any time soon
-You can freely use the bathroom
-You aren’t on an airplane with a loud crying baby
-You haven’t lost a certain thing yet
-You have all your schoolwork done
-You had no homework
-It isn’t freezing outside
-It isn’t scorching outside
-You aren’t freezing or scorching then
-You got invited to a party
-You had desert within the last 24 hours
-You got to go to a fast food place or restaurant and you liked your food
-You are hydrated
-You don’t feel too full
-You don’t have too much energy
-You have or had motivation to be productive today
-You also were productive today and got stuff down
-You impressed someone or got a compliment today
-It’s a holiday
-You’re happy
-You had a good cry
-You had a good sleep
-You got to do something fun that entertained you today
-You had free time today
-It’s the weekend
-It’s a Friday
And finally
-You’re alive, healthy, and well :)
One day this may change a bit. Or you one day you may wish it were easier to have these things happen. Or maybe one day you have allergies and overthink about how ungrateful you were to be able to breathe. So savor it so you don’t feel this way too much!
And most likely, most of this will stay the same the rest of your life.
Be grateful for the little things in life! No matter how silly they seem you’ll always be looking back on them!
