The digestive system is a system that digestive food. Your mouth is the first step to the digestive system. Your food goes down a tube called the esophagus. Your food is then broken down. Some foods, like corn, and peanuts do not get broken down, they come out whole. If your hungry, and you keep swallowing spit, it tricks your brain into thinking for eating, and when in can't digestive the spit. BRUUUUUUUU, you stomach growls. (I'm not to sure about this, I learned this in science)
