Will global warming (or anything like that) affect us within the next 20 years?

Here are some disturbing stats that will make you care:

- Some projections state that the Amazon Rainforest will be gone in 50 years (source: CNN)

- 2,000 species go extinct every year (Source: WWF foundation)

- by 2100 there will be an estimated 250,000 people dying every year because of the effects of pollution (SOurce: PBS)

- We have lost 50% of coral reefs in the last 30 years, and some project that they will be gone by 2030 (in 9 years!)  (Source: Earth.org)

- Wildfires will double by 2050, causing much air to be unbreathable (Source: NBC news)
