The result of approximately 30 hours of work. For those of you who aren’t familiar, I’m a leather worker and have been working on a knife and sheath for weeks. The knife is a dagger (double-bladed, full tang) with stacked leather and two G-10 washers. Pommel and guard as well. Despite its dark color it was not stained. It’s finished with beeswax then burnished. The sheath was stained and is a three-layer (very thick) with brass rivets and stud button. Everything on the sheath was sealed in beeswax as well (multiple times) and the edges were also burnished. Ask me anything, but I’ll probably do another post soon on how I did everything start to finish.
Now with all that said: Feast your eyes.
Ya forgive me for those last two. Apparently taking photos like that is rather difficult. You should have seen some the ones I had to retake… Anyway once again: ask me anything and I’ll cover it either here or in my next post.
