This is unofficial, but it’s a peace treaty for supporters and non-supporters of the LGBTQIA+++ community.
I was thinking about how the Kidztalk community has some split sides on certain views, and this is one of them. Now, it hasn’t been very recent, but there are multiple fights on whether LGBTQ+ is right or wrong.
We’re kids. Do we want to have more fights on this in the future?
As a side note, I don’t think that we’ll ever change the other sides opinion [no matter what side you’re on], so I think that if people do fight more in the future it would be pointless. So this should help.
If you support LGBTQ+ or are LGBTQ+, you are not wrong. If you do not support LGBTQ+, you are not wrong either. I personally support the community, but I won’t come at you for not doing so.
The point of this is to try and create peace between these sides, or whoever happens to be dawdling in the middle. The pride community and allies accept the people who do not support the LGBTQ+ spectrum, and the people who do not support the LGBTQ+ spectrum accept those who are in the pride community and are allies.
If you believe this sounds fair, answer or comment with you’re signature and promise.
“I, __, do take part in this peace treaty and solemnly swear I will stick to it.”
Or something like that, or nothing at all. Just a quick signature will let anyone know.
I’m hoping this will resolve things even if they are pretty nonexistent at the moment. This way, everyone is allies with everyone else and we lower the chances of fighting in the future.
Violation of this treaty, if you had signed it in the first place, doesn’t have a consequence, although you may end up with a lot of dirty looks, so I do not recommend.
