Just explain to them what you are like as a furry, and explain why you like it. Most stereotypes are incorrect and false. Your parents can't control who you are as a person, they can only give you suggestions.

Idk

My parents hate furries even though they don’t really know what they are. They just follow those sus stereotypes, like they’re attracted to animals and stuff. So maybe educate them on what furries ACTUALLY are and then they might accept you more.

Yeah, true... My mom knows all about them... But my dad compares them to therians,

And they think therians and furries are weird....
