We walked into the front office so Olivia could register.
"How can I help you?" the secretary asked sweetly.
"We'd like to register my daughter, Olivia." Mom responded. The secretary smiled and looked at Olivia.
"Are you Olivia?" she asked.
"I am Olivia Grace Taylor. I like stuffed animals and the color purple." Olivia responded, a little to loud. Luckily the secretary was normal about it. Mom registered Olivia and left.
"Alice, will you show Olivia to your classroom?".
"Sure." I didn't know how else to respond. I walked slowly so Olivia wouldn't drag off and finally approached my/our classroom. But who could be waiting in front of the door: Alexis Stoaker, Danton Middle School's #1 bully.
