Lightning and Thunder
Long ago, there were two energies that were formed by God. Thunder was the loud one. The one who always has the booming voice. The one who is the most high-handed. The one who always wants to win. However, at the same time another energy was born an his name was Lighting. Lightning almost had all power with his bolting streaks but he didn't want any. He didn't want to win all the time. He didn't want anything but one thing. Voice.Unlike Thunder, Lighting couldn't even make a peep. But most of his friends said,"Who needs to rule with a voice? You your golden streaks of course!" Lightning would always burst out those golden streaks in reply. One day, Thunder was passing by a humble village. It seemed so isolated when Thunder's around. His the energy that wants all power on Earth. Thunder tries to do that but in a negative way. Suprisingly, Lightning was passing by the humble village, too. Families were waving. Cool guys were carefully examining him carefully, wondering how Lightning's so popular. Babies laughed when they saw him. Kids begged for his autograph. Lightning was basically a hero to everyone. Just then, everyone zoomed into their houses. They locked the doors,closed their windows and hid in a safe spot. Some people even went in their tornado sheds, being cautious of destruction. "What's going on?" Lightning wondered, looking confused. Why was everybody hiding from him? That's strange. Without warning, a roaring voice came behind Lightning. "Why was it so loud hear? I was almost deaf and I have the most deafening voice on Earth!" Thunder boomed. Lightning looked terrified, shivering with fear but sadly, he couldn't say anything. "Are you deaf?" Thunder questioned with is thunderous voice.Lightning slightly shook his head no. "THEN WHY DON"T YOU ANSWER ME?!?!?!?!" Thunder screamed,shaking the ground. Lightning looked down at the sandy land, looking innocent. "You think you're so smart,huh?" Thunder said with a smirk. "Let's see about that.You and me are going to race to the Cloudy Mountains and back. If I'm the winner, loser has to GET OUT. If you're the winner, I'll never cause harm to anything and anybody ever again. Deal?" Lightning nodded his head but with a suspicious smile. And so, the two went to the clouds and then started the race. "READY,SET,GO!" Thunder roared and in a blink of an eye, he was gone. But Lightning was peacefully standing on the starting line without a single bit of worry on his face. A few minutes later, Thunder was huffing and puffing. He stopped to catch a breath and noticed Lightning wasn't even in sight."Where is that slowpoke?" Thunder wondered."Hmm.. maybe I could take a little nap and then go back to the race. That slowpoke's going nowhere." And so Thunder did. But when he got to Cloudy Mountains, Lightning was spotted drinking a coconut and lounging beside the beach. "How did you...why are you,," Thunder stammered, but in a flash, Lightning was gone.This time Thunder ran super fast, even faster than the cheethahs. But when Thunder got to the village, Lightning was already awarded by the village people. Thunder looked stunned. How did he do it? This is why Thunder always comes after Lightning and Thunder never causes any harm And he never will. Ever again.
