I Loooove Space so I just had to answer this!

Sadly when the Sun dies the Earth will too. That will not be for billions of years though. The Sun will slowly expand and boil the Earth. If Earth does not boil first everything will die like AnarchyOnToast said. The only organism I can recall that could survive that is a Tardigrade or "water bear" who can survive in pure ice, lava, or even in bare space!

Nope. Without the natural heat and light from our sun all life (exept for a handful of microorganisms) would die, leaving  Earth a cold, lifeless rock.
