Tony tried consoling his mother, who was sobbing ten buckets. "Where's dad?" He tried asking her through the breaks in hear cries. His mother asked for a tissue. He went to the other room, came back, and sat down. She took one hefty blow into it, and finally spoke.
"I don't know. He just said he had to go..." She rubbed her eyes.
"What do you mean he just said he had to go?" Asked Tony, trying to get more answers.
She looked at him like she realized he was there for the first time. "Why are you here so early? Aren't you supposed to be practicing right now?"
Tony never thought of that. He had just walked in, all cold and wet and partially bloody, with not a warning whatsoever.
"Um, yeah, coach said no practice today," he lied, trying to shoo it off.
"You always have practice, Tony?" She just wouldn't let it go.
"He said we deserved it, okay? It's about you right now... I heard you and Vic arguing."
"Oh, yeah," she said, sniffing one time. "We, um, had some words. He just needs to cool off."
Tony wanted to say, "I know the truth, I had a fight with him about this!" but it would do no good.
"So how about dinner?" He said, trying to get off the subject.
"Yeah, let's have dinner."

Victor's POV: First Person

I was walking miles from home. Sweat, blood, and tears were on my face.
I never thought in a million years I would have to leave home. No one cared for me anyway, I was just the embarrassment to the family that could never live up to and out of my older brother's shadow. That's the way it always worked out for me...
And the fight? No one would know the outcome of that fight, except for me and Tony. Tony, always stuck up. He's a freak of nature, but yet I'm the embarrassment. Acts like he's so cool when he's playing his little game. What a jerk. Anybody with eyes could see he isn't what I am...
If only it was me and Vinny. Then I would only have to worry about Vinny, not Tony who's nothing but a waste of time.
But then why would he beat you in that fight? You had nothing in it! A creeping voice inside my head said. I slapped my face on both sides to keep that thought out, but all I did was make myself even more sore. "Ugh!" I cried.
Someone was walking up towards me. I could see their shadow arch up the alley walls.
"Who's there!" I yelled, trying to scare the person.
"Relax, kid, it's me," said a familiar voice. "Ray?" I replied, "Ray Jugg?"
"Who else?" He said, finally coming into view. I smiled, as he was the only person I wanted to see. "So, you finally left that freak show family?" He asked, whilst kicking a tiny stone on the ground.
"Yeah..." I said. I was proud to see he smiled. "Always knew you could do it. Wish you'd done it sooner, could've achieved a lot more things. You know, in the war with Vietnam, everything's backed up." His face changed a little. "But we're not planning on letting that stop us. New York is rough, but we've toughen up a bit."
"What do you mean?" I asked. He just smiled.
"Listen, kid, we've got a new set of plans. I know this guy, pretty much indebted in me, but doesn't admit it. I'm sure he wouldn't mind if we take a couple things. In and out, very smooth." He walked over to me and put his hand on my shoulder. "We need someone very sneaky like you to give us the go and help us get our share. If you do, I'll give you half of what I'm getting, 'cause you're a smart kid."
I was a little shocked he asked me to actually go with him. I usually just stayed at home base and waited for him and his guys to come back. This was money I couldn't pass up...
"What if something goes wrong?" I asked, genuinely concerned of what would happen if I agreed naturally.
His comforting smile faded.
"How many times do I have to tell you not to ask questions? D'you want the money or not?" He looked at me like I was some stupid kid, which made me feel horrible. "Yeah, I do."
"I thought so. Come on. We can't be talking in the open alley, everyone'll hear us." He put his hand on my back and led me out of the alley, back to homebase.

How'd you guys like that? I decided on doing two different POVs today. One was third person, Tony's, and one was first person, Vic's. I didn't really have anything exciting going on for Tony at that moment, so I planned to give you the details on Vic's runaway, which was also up to date! I thought you may've wanted to hear what Vic had to say and what he was up to.

Can you tell that Vic has a chip on his shoulder? Why do you think?

Anyways, PLEASE answer to this and tell me what you think about it! Includes all people who view this!
