You all seemed to enjoy the first chapter (or at least Nobi did, she's a sweetheart xD), so here's chapter 2! I have never written anything before, nor did I expect to, but here we are. Enjoy!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The layout of the spider home is quite the sight. The main room contains taxidermy animals strung up upon the walls (or at least what the father spider considers taxidermy, because to him it involves taking random body parts from animals and hanging them up). The room also contains a small skylight, which is where I fell in as an infant

The other four rooms are for the adolescent spiders. The rooms are just as horrifying as the main room, but I will spare you of the uncanny and abnormal details.

I began setting my escape plan in motion after scanning out the cave for any potential openings, but I, to my utmost annoyance, found none. As a 13 year old, climbing out the "skylight" seemed impossible, so I would have to physically chisel my way out. I admit, it didnt sound particularly entertaining, but I was sucked clean of all other options.

I scoured the cave for broken stalactites, and eventually found a suitable one of considerable size. I ran to my cave, nearly knocking the mother spider down. She glared at me, but by this point I was used to that judgemental gaze she loved to save just for me.

My "cave" was poorly suited for it's name. The word 'cave' should make one think of a large underground space, covered in gray-black rock. My "cave", however, was a small opening carved into the wall. It contained just enough space for me to curl up and sleep in, and to place my most valued possessions.

My possessions weren't a very impressive nor flattering sight. They were a musty old blanket and five severely chipped black rocks with small spiders carved into them. The blanket was the same one I was wrapped in when I fell into the spiders' cave. The father spider tried throwing it away many atime, but I was stubborn and insisted upon safekeeping it.

The rocks, on the other hand, I used whenever I became angry at the family. I would smash them together and bang them against the walls all night. It was my special little way of annoying my unpleasant roommates.

I knocked around on the walls of my "cave", testing to see if any of the areas were hollow. None of them were, to my utter dismay and anger. I curled up into a ball on the floor as I furiously threw one of my black rocks at the cave wall, which revealed a small opening.

I hurriedly scrambled up and stared at the wall before slowly smiling.

I had found a way out.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ahhh, I hope y'all enjoyed my 2 minutes of reading xD. I have 0 experience writing so this story is basically just a little test.

See yall next time:)
