Why would my dad want to give me a flip phone and how can I change his mind

My dad said that he was getting me a flip phone and I don't want it. How can I change his mind before I am stuck texting with numbers?

Just tell your dad that if you get a flip phone people would fight you and they would also say cuss words and then they would say that your dad is a fat a fat a fat fat fat fat and that they would break the phone and that means that he would have to bye you another but if he gets a regular phone you don't have to worry about getting teased at school but if you don't care just get the flip phone duh

Tell your dad you don't want one. Honestly, I would love to have a phone! Tell your dad to save money and get a cheaper, normal one
