My self esteem is gone

Question

So, on the first day of school, I met someone who's top ten MC PvP. He said it took seven years to make it. He also said I have potential of making it. But, tonight dad had the ( sarcastically says) brilliant idea ) sarcasm stops) of saying I'll never make it. I insisted I'll try for 20 years if that's how long it takes. Dad said then you'll be homeless. But after dinner my self esteem burnt up like a zombie in sunlight. My self esteem is almost all back now but can you help me so if this happens again my self esteem won't go away?

Your dad is pretty rude but I do think he has something of a point. Obviously you can be successfull doing stuff in Minecraft, but its a difficult career choice. I'd personally suggest finding a back up job you'd also be interested in. It could still even be Minecraft related! Who knows maybe you could get a job a Mojang!

But regardless, it was pretty bad of him to say something like that if he knew it would hurt you so much. When I usually lose my self esteem I attempt to have conversations with like minded, or at least remember good memories of them. Perhaps look at things that could be my future ro influence it? I hope this could work well for you!
