she ran through the tall-thin grass, the wind flowing through her hair, each breath floating to heaven like a dream, her boots felt like air. she was for the first time,free? the boats of sadness coursed her mind everyday, finding ways to hurt her. trying to tear every atom of her apart. she always tried to stop them, but all the would do was make her suffer. until today, when she finally knew what to do. she didn't need to run away from them, she needed to confront them, and as soon as she did, they screamed, and howled, and groaned. They begged her to feel pain agian. but she wasn't going to listen anymore. so, she took ahold of the boat and sank it. watching it sink, she turned her head to find...light. not just light, but the sun, that never shined for her. she looked down, and the sea turned into tall grass, with flowers blooming. she knelt down and smelt them, a fragrance of a new beggining. thats when she heard it. the soft churn of the bells, just a few yards away. she knew what to do on instinct. she ran, not in fear, but in love. she knew after the years of fighting she would go home. the real place where she belonged. just a few steps, and her dog, aggie, ran up to her, barking and licking. she laughed. never had the future been so bright. she never expected it. it was something, she never knew she could have. so she picked herself up, and playfully ran in the wind with her dog. the last thing to do was to see who would get to the sweet bread baking in the kitchen first.
