Hi, I need help. 2 years ago me and my dad got into a fight. I was threatening him with suicide. He grabbed me n dragged me upstairs and called my mom to come get me.

My dad's ex girlfriend was mad at my dad because of something irrelevant and convinced me to make allegations against him ( my dad's ex wanted full custody of my little sister) .

I told the police my dad was threatening me with guns and my dad's ex even had pictures of my dad pointing guns at the camera we got from his facebook. They were from when he went hunting.

My dad got arrested and put in jail and my dad's ex took off with my little sister.

Social services caught me and my dad's ex lying and because of that my dad was released. They caught my dad's ex trying to coach me what to do next.

Nothing has happened to us. I don't even think my dad's ex got into trouble. They said they were going to come talk to me but they never did and I think they proceeded charging my dad but with lesser charges regardless of catching us lying.

I'm scared, I feel like my dad's ex took advantage of me to get an edge . Now she's planning on moving away with my little sister and she's doing everything to take her away from my dad and I'll probably never see her again. I don't know who to contact for help.

Because social services and the police already know what is going on. And they basically allowed my dad's ex to do this. I already feel bad for lying, I know it's partially my fault. But I was manipulated.

I feel like the police are keeping it a secret and still charged my dad so he wouldn't sue.

I haven't seen my little sister since the incident. My dad's ex is causing so much problems for my dad she has costed him 70k in lawyer bills.

I admitted to lying and everyone just turned their heads the other way.

What do I do

That's quite a situation. Any time you find yourself in a position where it seems like lying might be in your best interest, it's not. It will ALWAYS go sideways eventually. It's like reality is designed to uproot lies over time. I'm really really sorry you had to learn that in such a severe way. That's really sad for you and your dad and your sister.

You're right. It is a bit baffling to determine who to talk to when supposedly the police and social services are both fully informed. The first thing that comes to mind is a good pastor, but part of the reason I would think that is because the one that I'm most familiar with worked in department of children's services for many years, so he was well informed in areas like that.

My second thought is having a lawyer who specializes in social disputes and defamation, but the tricky part is finding them and getting them to take the case, because they'd have to be confident that they could win and receive the fees for their time so they can pay their own bills.

True or False: the main issue is that your dad's ex now has full custody of your sister and your dad's custody was wrongly stripped due to the lying, and your dad's ex is a pathological liar who is perfectly fine not letting you or your dad see your sister..? And so the goal would be to actually have the ex's custody stripped because of her false-testimony, defamation, etc. and have her cover the legal fees incurred.

I mean.. best of both worlds would be a paster who used to be a lawyer or a lawyer who used to be a pastor, or a lawyer who used to work for DCS or something like that. But, it's really seeming like a good vicious lawyer is what's needed to knock down doors and demand this be straightened out. There are no easy solutions now.
