Because of My Past is about three friends, Victoria Crowson, Carolina Wester, and Marie Greenhouse. Having been stolen from, robbed, and kidnapped, the three decide they are going to start karate classes with Sensis Francis. Although it helps them out, it teaches them loyalty and many more character traits.
But that is just the shell of the acorn. It could be considered a romance adventure as well.
