When the duo got to the Southern Tower, they were met by two guards. They asked Varik a series of questions, and he answered them successfully. The guards escorted the duo to the throne room were the King was sitting. When the duo got to the King, he at once asked his guards who these slugs were. The guards answered him ''These outsiders are merchants'' the King then asked the merchants why they were in his kingdom, and why they came without an invitation.
The King was now getting mad at his unwanted guests, and told the guards to escort the duo out of the fort. But before the guards could grab them, the duo attacked without warning, and both guards were defeated within a few short, wild seconds. The king then got out of his throne and grabbed his weapon, and made a swing at the attackers, but they dodged every attempt he made. Finally he was to tired to fight, and dropped to the ground. The wolf finally finished of the evil King.
The two warriors were now worried about saving the Queen and getting out of the city. After searching the city prison camp, they finally found the Queen Kalia of Volkhair and got her out of the wretched country of Candalor. But the adventure wasn't over just yet. They still had to get through the war-torn country of Cyridill. After 5 days of horrid travel, the Trio made it to the border of Volkhair. The King had gotten word that the Queen was almost home, so he sent some royal guards to escort the Queen home. When the group had made it back to the Volkharian capitol of Sarak Tal, they were greeted by the King, and his subjects.
After Varik completed his quest, he was awarded to the rank of Prime Lord of the Silver Lords. And the King and Queen made Varik the War Marshal.
What became of Zavala (the wolf), is unknown. Though Varik thinks he is out to help another Kingdom. THE END
