I promised myself I wouldn't turn back after what he did.
What a joke.
Of course, I turned back! Aric was my only hope of survival. He owned the house, money, and pretty much my entire life. So I only left for about a week before I returned.
What made me run in the first place, you ask? Well, he put down my cat. Why? Because apparently "we aren't allowed to have cats in this house" because "we don't have the money to take care of it". Yet we have the money for a mansion? Sure.
So I left. This wasn't the first time my husband seemed unreasonable, and I was fed up with it. So I packed my bags, said goodbye, and I was off. I went to the hotel I booked a night prior. I was set on staying there until I had the money for an apartment. Unfortunately, it was one of those cheap hotels, where you had to buy your food and such. I quickly ran out of food and money thanks to that, and one week later, I returned home.
I had texted Aric, and he was expecting me at around 9 PM. I ended up arriving a bit early and when I walked in the door...
