The Story Of Allie Wush
My hand hovers just inches away from Brady's face as I hold him by his collar.
"ALLIE!! WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING?!?!" Ms. Trexes screams as she rushes over to Brady and I.
I look over at Ms. Trexes and drop Brady in the snow. He starts bawling as Ms. Trexes examines Brady to make sure I hadn't hurt him. Then she gets up and gives me a stink eye and turns in the direction of the kids who had gathered to watch the fight.
"Collin, walk Brady to the nurse's office."
As Collin helps Brady up Ms. Trexes turns back to me.
"And you, Allie, will follow me."
I follow Ms. Trexes down the bland hallways. We turn the corner and enter the secretary's office. The secretary, Mrs. Bush, looks up from her computer.
"Allie, again? This is the third time this week!" I shrug as she sighs and shakes her head.
"The principal will see you momentary. Take a seat."
Ms. Trexes explains what happened and gives me one last glance and leaves.
I fidget with my hair and wonder what Mr. Hills, the principal, will slam on me this time. Detention for a month? Suspension? Expulsion? I get lost in my thoughts about my punishment. Suddenly the door to the principal's office opens.
"Ms. Wush. Come in."
