I just felt really uncomfortable and I’m wondering if this was right.
I was at my swim class and after I always go into the bathroom and change. I was alone, to my relief, and was changing. I heard the door open and I hadn’t put on my shirt yet so I wrapped myself in my towel, because I get really uncomfortable with other people in there.
The MALE supervisor came in and asked if anyone was in there, and I assumed it was cause they wanted to like clean the bathrooms or something. I said “I am,” loud enough for him to hear.
So tell me… why did he have to check?
You know how America has those.. CRACKS in all the stalls for those peeping toms and stuff? The gaps?
My dude PEERED THROUGH THE CRACK IN MY STALL FOR AT LEAST THREE SECONDS.
I WAS SO UNCOMFORTABLE.
A MALE worker going into the WOMENS bathroom, asking if people were THERE, getting a RESPONSE, and then checking in a weird way for longer than normal.
He could have just made sure my feet were there if he was concerned. What the actual heck-
WAS HE BEING INAPPROPRIATE, OR DID HE HAVE GOOD INTENTIONS? BECAUSE THAT FELT VERY WRONG EITHER WAY. I AM SO UNCOMFORTABLE THINKING ABOUT IT. PLEASE HELP-
Reading over it, maybe it wasn’t. But imagine experiencing this. IN A SMALL STALL WITH CRACKS WITH ONLY A TOWEL COVERING YOUR TORSO WITH THE OPPOSITE GENDER LIKE 30 YEARS OLDER THAN YOU CHECKING BY LOOKING THROUGH THOSE CRACKS.
