The little kids I meet now are brats. They listen to songs they shouldnt. They understand things only adults originally understand. They play on their greasy ipads all day.

And the kids in my generation? The other day, on the bus, an old lady was driving next to us, and she had these thick goggle ish glasses things on that I think helped her see better. My thought was, “Aw, I hope those glasses help!” Immediately, the kids behind me said, “Look, its my ugly *** grandma!” Kids laughed. Someone said, “Bet she crashes on the way to her boogery grandkids house” and kids laughed again.

WHAT HUMOR IS THAT!? THATS HORRID! WHAT THE ACTUAL FLIPPERS!?

But it isn’t entirely the kids fault. Its their bad behavior and actions. Its the millenials choice of parenting.

TEEN MOMS FIDDLING WITH HIGH SCHOOL, AN EXTRA JOB AND THE KID THEY HAVE TO CARE FOR CAN DO BETTER PARENTING THAN THE MOMS IN MY LITTLE SISTERS GIRL SCOUT TROOP.

And this is no offense to a millennial who could be reading this. Like, this isn’t everyone. Some do great. For instance, my mom does a great job with discipline. I was spanked as a kid, I was grounded, I had privileges taken away. Did I want that? No. Did I need it to learn though? Absolutely.

I feel like its also just kind of changed since I was little anyways though. Like, when I was 6, I had an (old and crusty lol) ipad, sure, but I played less than an hour tops and was outside, playing with my stuffed animals and barbies, drawing with my crayons.

6 year olds now are on their IPHONE 15 PLAYING GAMES WITH THE AVERAGE SCREEN TIME OF 6 HOURS

And you know what? They learn from their screens, too. Millennials instead of reading to their kids a good old fairy tale give their kid a phone.

Thats why I’m glad theres shows like Bluey, because kids get their source of learning from TV, and Bluey teaches good lessons and behavior, unlike, say, Peppa Pig.

Actions have consequences, millennials don’t follow through with that.

Most parents who are millennials anyways either are abusive overprotective parents, toxic parents who record their kids and post it to tiktok, or blatantly ignore their kids.

It feels theres really just a good 40% of parents who actually teach their kids, maybe not the greatest but they still parent.

I know MOST OF GEN Z (not sure about gen a) WITH A BRAIN agrees with me

Do you?

Sorry but the only thing I got from this was

You think spanking is okay?

Getting spanked is a kid NOT good

It depends why you spanked. For no reason is not okay. Consecutively spanking a kid is not okay. For abuse is not okay. Mistakes being the reason is not okay. But a kid throwing a tantrum multiple times a day, yeah, that kid deserves a spanking.

Speaking of peppa pig,

Do NOT watch I can count to three by meatcanyon.

You will literally be afraid to go anywhere dark.

The ending is the most terrifying aspect.

I repeat, do NOT watch it.

You can’t blame an entire generation for bad parenting, Sloth. I bet some millennials do the type of parenting you listed, and I bet people of other generations (like early Gen Z) do the “bad” parenting you listed. It’s really about the individual person and their parenting style.

My Mom is Generation X

Yeah I know that but I feel like more than half of the millennials with kids specifically cannot raise their kids right

Both of my parents are on the older end of millennials, my dad barely being one. (He believes he is a Gen X though)
