Any Good Ways to Put a Rat in a Leash???

I am currently trying to train my rats to be on a leash and in a body harness. The only one who EVEN STAYS IN IT FOR 3 SECONDS is Scabbers. But he still squeaks and tries to wriggle away. Y'all have any suggestions???

I know what you mean because I have tried to do this before. I make my leashes and harnesses out of thick but not too thick yarn. Add a safety pin and make a leash. And as for your rat staying in the leash and harness I can't help you there, because what a rat can fit it's whole head through it can fit body through.
