Why are dogs color-blind?

Why can they not see color? Thats just weird.
If you are a wonderer like me than try it out.
You can put your mind to something and you can do it!
You can really do anything you want to do!

People are color sighted because the cones in their eyes can see blue, red, and green. All other colors are mixtures of them.

They are not, that is just a myth( untrue fact that a lot of people think is true, not old story).

It has something to do with the number of rods in their eyes. My veterinary manual has the answer but I'm too lazy to look in it right now...LOL.
