I was a little kid when I found my passion,
When I was just about to say I had none.
I was a little kid when I first took a stand,
And let my spirit run from land to land.
I was a little kid when the blossoms fell,
And I reached to the sky and the sound of bells.
I am a teenager with a big heart,
But sometimes I am a sour tart.
I am a teenager with some bad mistakes,
But I try to learn from them and avoid the wicked way.
I am a teenager with growing pains,
But I make the most of them and the feelings go away.
I will be an adult and begin to take the wieght,
And I will try to stay loyal to my state.
I will be an adult and begin to say goodbye,
To childhood friends and strangers by-and-by.
I will be an adult and begin to drift away,
From the memories I'm holding on to, in this month of May.
