After the meeting with the Hashira gamekid decided to go and get lunch before she was assigned another mission. And when she had gotten to the dining room, she saw Mitsuri eating a bowl of ramen. Gamekid shyly waved to her, “hello gamekid!” she stood up and ran to gamekid arms open for a hug. gamekid graciously accepted the hug and Mitsuri pulled away, “forgive me! I’m just so happy you’re here and that I get to train you!” gamekid smiled, “yeah, I’m happy to be here too!” they both sat down, “so, are you interested in Love breathing?” gamekid thought for a minute, “yeah, I think it’s really cool how it was developed!” Mitsuri nodded, “did you know, Rengoku-kun was actually supposed to teach me Flame breathing, but I couldn’t do it so I made Love breathing!” Mitsuri laughed. Her laugh was sweet. Gamekid smiled, “that’s cool!” a small girl with blue hair walked in with a bowl of ramen for gamekid, “hello, you must be the new Hashira, am I correct?” the girl said. Gamekid nodded, “what is your name?” the girl put the bowl down in front of gamekid, “I am Aoi. I am also a Hashira, but use my skills for housework.” Gamekid nodded again, “nice to meet you.” Aoi nodded and left the room. “would you like to take a walk with me after lunch?” Mitsuri said. Gamekid smiled and nodded, excited with some alone time with her.
After lunch, Mitsuri led gamekid to her favorite spot. A small well by a pond. Where the wisteria trees were growing. Mitsuri sat down in the grass, “gamekid, can you keep a secret?” gamekid sat down next to her and nodded, “I heard Rengoku-Kun is going on a mission tomorrow, and I don’t know if he’ll make it.” (spoiler, sorry) “oh, why not?” Mitsuri took a deep breath, “lets not talk about it. He will be fine! He’s a Hashira, right?” gamekid looked over to her, she was still stressed. Gamekid placed her hand on top of Mitsuri’s, “he’ll be okay… plus, now I’ll be here for you.” Mitsuri looked over to gamekid, blushing, “that’s so sweet!” Mitsuri intertwined her fingers with gamekid’s, and they sat there for a bit until Mitsuri finally said, “you know, I feel like something between us clicked when you came in…” then they both said together, not knowing, “like… sparks.” They looked to each other and giggled. Mitsuri rested her head against gamekid’s shoulder. “I can’t wait to see you become a strong Hashira…” she whispered. Gamekid kissed her on the forehead, “me too!”
