Chapter 1
Deku:
I walked down the hall briskly, looking for Aizawa-sensei, I had forgotten to turn in my papers, and didn’t want to fail my class.
I ran with my head down and ended up running straight into someone. I fall to the ground, my books and papers going everywhere.
A familiar voice mumbled an apology, “sorry, Midoriya, I didn’t see you.”
I looked up at Todoroki and smiled, “it’s okay! We’re friends, so it shouldn’t matter!”
He gave me a shy smile, handing me my books.
“Thanks Todoroki—”
He shrugged, “it’s no problem.”
He helped me up, “well, I’ve got to go to class, see you around, Midoriya!” he ran off and I turned the next corner and saw Aizawa-sensei sitting at his desk. I walk up to him, placing the papers down on the desktop. He looked up to me as if he were irritated by my mere presence.
“One more late turn-in and you get a mark, young Midoriya.”
I gulp, “yes sir.”
He took the papers, and I made my way back down the hall.
Uraraka was the next person I ran into.
She was walking with Asui and Iida. “Hey Izuku!” her smile widened as we came to meet each other.
“Hello!”
Asui and Iida both grabbed Uraraka by the wrists and dragged her away, “oop- bye Izuku!”
I waved her off and turned again to the cafeteria.
I grabbed some food and sat down at a table by myself. Across the room I saw Kirishima, Sero and Kaminari gathering around something on the floor.
I shrug and blow on my udon. (kinda like ramen)
“May I sit with you?” I look up at Todoroki, who’s carrying a tray of ramen and rice balls. I nod and he sits across from me.
“Sure.”
He sits down, his cup of tea sloshing around. He looks at me, then down to his feet. “did you end up finding Aizawa-sensei?”
I was startled, “oh, yes. I did. He accepted the papers... Luckily.” He smiled slightly, “that’s good.”
“Well, I heard we have another faux battle tomorrow.”
“I bet Kacchan’s excited, considering how well he did last time.”
Todoroki nodded, taking a sip of his tea, and putting it back down on the table.
“Normal team?” he asked,
I nodded, “yup!”
