Fun fact, this one simple math problem cannot be solved by anyone

it is one of the hardest math problems ever

3x + 1

Since that math problem has nothing that it must equal, X can equal any number.

I do have one suggestion. PLEASE TAKE ALGEBRA CLASS BEFORE POSTING MATH PROBLEMS ABOUT ALGEBRA. It just makes the writer look dumb when they write a math problem that doesn't make sense.

Peace rock

A loneley variable would equal 1. Especially in this case since tehre's no word problem/scenario. So accoring to PEMDAS, 3x+1= 3x1+1 which equals 4.

This is as true as you might find it-funny?-idk- but it's 3x+1. Yes, 3x+1=3x+1, and that's the end.

But it's not set equal to anything?

So I suppose in this case, x has infinite solutions.

thats how its hard

I wouldn't say 'hard,' because you could plug in whatever you'd like for x, and get a result. Unless your x is equal to an insane physics equation, but even after solving that, 3x+1 isn't hard imo :p

well it says its unsolvable

Let’s say that x is two. 3 times 2 is 6, and adding 1 to that is 7.

actually 3x+1 can have multiple answers each answer is a one more than a multiple of three, it all depends on what x is.
