I just want to know because I intend to go hunting next season, and wonder if any of you have any tips.

Uh, 243 is good gun for kids/teens doesn't kick too bad and it'll shoot a buck. Practice on targets a LOT. You wanna make sure your scope is right before you ever hunt. Sorry I'm not very good at giving tips.

308 winchester is what i use

It’s great for deer, since it has alot of power.

We do have a 300 win mag, but that’s more for bear and moose.

I intend to use a bow because we can only use a slug shotgun and some say that it ruins the meet. Any tips on bow hunting?

I meen we do have a shotgun and i can use it I just don't want to use it and if I miss I will probably scare away the rest of the deer. So bow for me.

If u shoot a bow and miss you're probably also going to scare the rest of the deer. The twang of the stringy like thing. The sound and motion of the arrow hitting the ground/tree. Those will all scare a deer

Yeah, I don't support killing at all, but definitely not killing for sport.

It's like saying you're killing just to look better, or killing just to be killing animals because it's fun.

Only do it if you truly need to hunt for food and/or clothing, like the Native Americans did.

But I can't change the people who kill for sport's minds, so I avoid talking to them about it.

The truth is, actually, if it is an honest and good hunter, they will respect the animal more than a dishonest hunter (a dishonest hunter would let the animal suffer).

Yes, I do.

I don’t bear hunt, I don’t duck hunt, and I don’t turkey hunt.

I do deer hunt, dove hunt, squirrel hunt, and skeet shoot though.
