It's when you drill a hole into a maple tree and pock a small hose into it then drape the hose into a bucket, and the sap that comes out is the trees food. we take that and boil it till the temperature reaches 219 degrees ferinhiet. And that becomes syrup. it is so much fun! And you have no idea how good homemade syrup is until you try it.
