Idk. I heard a joke saying that maybe dogs lick us because they know we are hiding human-flavored bones inside. Maybe dogs are planning to try to eat us while we sleep, so they act all sweet and innocent, but they are still actually ferocious wolves, and Wolves are like, "Why didn't we think about that? Dogs are always getting the better end of the stick."

they never purposefully eat bones unless there starving, and trying to get meat off, or if they're store-bought flavored ones.

my dog won't eat bones, and he never has been interested in them.

Nothing! Dogs aren't really hungry for bones. The only reason they're shown in movies chewing on bone is 'cause they're starving and trying to get and little pieces of meat off, or they are flavored. They don't want human bones.
