An aspect of parasites is that they are classified into three main categories. The first is protozoa, complex organisms capable of reproducing, feeding, and ejecting waste. The second is helminths, who can infect hosts through a variety of ways and can infect any organ. The third is ectoparasites. Ectoparasites live on the skin of their hosts, unlike other parasites, who fedd from within.
