In the uk you can stop using a booster seat when you are 135cm or higher. So I got out when I was 9.

uhm... i never... used a booster seat... my mom didn't like them, but I stopped using carseats when I was 4, its  not really illegal, I think

I got out of mine when I was 8 or 9, and when I was 4’7”.

It’s illegal to stop using a booster seat (that’s what I used) in my state until you’re 4’9”.
