Due to the fact that “infinity” is not a real number, more rather an unimaginably large “number” (it’s not cardinal therefore has no set value). But something divided by itself (ex: n divided by n) is most of the time 0, but as we know infinity can be aleph-null to something that’s just… you know. So let’s just settle on it being 1, undefined, or 0. It can be either, but we say undefined since we don’t know the correct answer.

Lets start with the basic way— aka the only way ;-;

Way #1

How many times does infinity go into infinity? They are the same number, thus, it is 1.  Since the same number is not bigger nor smaller, it can only go in once— while 9 can be spit into 3 threes to put it in simple wording. In more complicated wording 9 can go into 3 three times. If it is uneven, like 4 going into 3, it will be answered with a simple 3 R1– since there was one left and three cannot go into one. (Swap the roles if you have a remainder)

And so on.For every number that the infinity has,you divide it by that.

Infinity is techniclly not a number, but other sites say it is 0 becuse both infinitys are going at the same speed.

I can just say that inf / inf = every known positive numbers since inf / every known positive numbers is still inf. if we take -inf / inf or the other way, we will get every known negative numbers since infinity is undefined as a number in these concepts…
