ok people, I’ve been wanting to ask this Question for quite a while. Tell me if I get any political terms incorrect. Sorry it is a bit long.
Sooooo...
I know that a dictator is someone who kind of forces themselves into a ruling position and will continue to rule and won’t back down. They are also generally not very nice and have their title passed down to their child when they die. And then there are monarchs.
I know that a monarch is a king or queen. You might be thinking: How-on-earth is her-majesty Queen Elizabeth II the same as someone like he-who-must-not-be-named-or-have-His-chins-counted? Well I’m pretty sure this story is correct but please correct me if it isn’t: a long long time ago the righteous Her-Majesty-The-Queen’s ancestors fought against other rich families for the throne. After a lot of fighting (and probably tantrums), the whats-them-called forced themselves onto the throne. Tick! They continued to rule and wouldn’t back down. Tick! They weren’t very nice (executing siblings and cousins all the time). Tick! When one of them died, the throne would go to their eldest son (why the son?!), if there wasn’t a male heir it would got to the eldest female. Tick!
Okay who-ever-bothered-to-be-reading-this, I hope I have made you think, whether it is ‘wow! I never thought that way’ or ‘this nitwit doesn’t understand it at all’. If you can help me out with this question please post it.
Isn’t a monarch a dictator?
And while you’re at it:
Is there a proper term for a nice-dictator-who-rules-for-the-good-of-the-people-and-a-lot-of-people-like?
And:
Who here likes chorizo?
Thank you for reading my question, and please don’t order my execution for treason against the crown. I am innocent. Bye.
