On Karl’s drive, he saw the abominable tower. He knew this citadel was where his fight would be. It was a structure of solid, abstracted metal. There was zero efficiency in the design, it was made entirely to look edgy and imposing. In fact, everything seemed edgy and imposing towards the center of the city. It started raining, and the sky blackened. It seemed this adventure was ending, he was ready for his final climactic battle with Trudeau.

Karl’s gas in his squad car was almost empty, but he was at the town square, the tower sitting only a short distance from him. The entrance was solid, layered steel, and seemed to be locked. This was not an issue for Karl however, as he could just punch through it. Karl rammed his squad car into a park bench and hopped out of the now-totaled machine.

“TAKE AIM!” Before Karl even knew it, he was surrounded by police drones and officers. He didn’t realize until it was too late. It seemed the officers gave up on capturing Karl, they didn’t even give him an opportunity to surrender. Maybe they knew it was a moot effort to give up the advantage for the sake of mercy.

Karl scanned the scene. It seemed that he was surrounded from all sides. Police officers with large square shields and two large mechanical suits clad with guns. He counted at least 15 officers. Karl would not let this end when he was so close to his final battle. He would not fall to these petty socialist shills. Karl took his stance.

Karl lifted his arms, beckoning the men to pay attention. “Listen here, insignificant footmen! I have no quarrel with you, merely your leader! You have one chance to turn around, or I will give you a painful death.” Karl was met with silence, only a pattering of heavy rain. The men would not give up, it seemed they were in it as martyrs. Karl felt the rain on his bare chest, the silence amplifying the feeling.

“You have no chance of winning! Give up.” Karl continued. A gunshot echoed, and the bullet tickled the back of Karl’s skull. Yet again, it only bounced off.

“Fine.” Karl ripped the car door off the hinges of the wrecked police car. With his massive muscles, he hurled the door like a discus, splitting one of the mechanical suits in half. The other mech and the rest of the officers began their onslaught of bullets, Karl dodging every shot. In a flash of dust, Karl ripped the heads off of four policemen. He could see the fear in their eyes. The officers were in awe at how fast it all happened, as Karl decapitated 2 more with a single swing of his arm. Karl slammed his massive arms on the ground, causing a large chunk of concrete to split from the ground. Destabilized, the officers tried to look for Karl, but their vision was clouded by the opaque mist of concrete and dirt. Screams and gunfire echoed through the town square, but nobody could see the carnage that Karl was causing. When the dust cleared, it was all a mess of corpses and ruined technology. Drones, mechs, and officers were strewn about the destroyed town square. Karl was the only one left standing.

Karl saw the metal doors on the massive tower were now open, and Karl walked inside. It was very dark, but Karl could see an open set of elevator doors. He didn’t take time to inspect the interior, and it seemed the owner of the tower wanted Karl to find his way to him. As Karl walked into the elevator, the doors closed, and he could feel the elevator moving.

After a while, the doors opened and revealed a large banquet hall, completely devoid of furniture. It was merely wallpaper and a giant chandelier. Karl knew this was the final showdown for communism. At the back of the room, there was a figure of a man. This man was rather muscly and seemed to have a metal arm. Karl couldn’t inspect him much as his back was turned.

“Karrrrrlllll Marx… Rather interesting to see you here, of all people.” The man turned around to reveal a metal eye and a largely metallic body. It seems this man has undergone meticulous hours of robotic surgery, most likely to enhance his capabilities.

“Why have you come here and slaughtered my men? Have you no decency?” The man began walking towards Karl. “I am Justin Trudeau, leader of Global Canada. I have been the peak of humanity since my conception. What makes you think you could stop me, with your inferior manifesto?” Karl gave Trudeau an angry glance.

“My manifesto hasn’t been tried yet, it’s the culmination of a thousand years of governmental philosophy, nobody can beat my communist manifesto.”

Trudeau emitted a hearty laugh, “You fool. It has been tried. It failed, you old cretin.” Karl stood dumbfounded, he had no idea.

“Ever heard of the USSR? The society that perpetuated the deaths and silence of all of their citizens, it ran on Communism.”

Karl stood silently, on the brink of psychological defeat when he realized…

“You haven’t tried my EXACT form of communism, normie!”

Karl leaped at Justin, ready to clash. They began to exchange blows, and Karl realized Trudeau was of similar strength. Karl and Trudeau grappled, grunting in their attempts to best one another. Trudeau got the upper hand, and threw Karl through one of the support beams. Karl got up, relatively unphased. Once again, they threw their punches and tried to encircle their opponent. Karl threw an uppercut, but Trudeau dodged with inhuman speed. Trudeau used that window to blast Karl in the ribs with his robotic fist. Finally, Karl was fighting someone with intense power. He tried again and again to strike Trudeau, but he seemed impossible to beat with his incredible speed and reflexes. Maybe this was a battle the infamous Karl Marx could not win. It seemed Karl had all but given up, when in a twist of fate, his vision flashed. He was standing in a red room, surrounded by men in military attire. One of the men offered Karl an ornate sickle, and told him to “use it for establishing his will.”

Karl returned, oddly enough with the sickle in his hands. He knew what he had to do. Trudeau stood with his back turned, in righteous indignation. “You will never beat me, you old fool!” With zero thought, he took the sickle and hurled it at Trudeau’s back, striking him with an incredible amount of force. Trudeau slumped over, realizing he was defeated. Karl crouched beside Trudeau’s body as his life was fading from him.

“Do you want to know why you lost?”

Trudeau turned to face Karl with his pale face, obviously losing quarts of blood by the second.

“You didn’t establish communism.”

Karl stood up, and without saying a word, jumped through the side of the metallic tower, landing on the town square below. Karl’s job was finished. He felt himself slipping back into the void from whence he came. Karl was back in his city, his home. Trier seemed a brighter place than before. Karl walked down the streets and saw the people not as sheep, but as real people. They didn’t seem sad, they were happy? Karl felt his spirits lifted, and resolved not to treat these people as rabble, but as real people! Karl felt… good? He was truly… happy. He would still shove over the various people that passed him though, he couldn't help it.

Later into his life, he toppled the government of Prussia, established communism, and continued to advance across the world as a beacon of hope for the communist party. He ruled, not with an iron fist, but with a gentle and benevolent eye as supreme dictator. The world would continue to grow under his watchful gaze until he died of old age. They mourned his loss, but many great leaders would continue to make a prosperous earth, ensuring socialism would never come to exist.

Karl watched from the heavens, knowing he didn’t die in vain.

The End.
