Dear diary, I'm frightened. The white people beat me and took me from me home.I am locked up in chains in the vessel of this mammoth boat. mother taught me that pain makes us proud, because we are stronger than those who don't have any. But right know, The pain is devouring me. It smells of despair and hopelessness.Whatever will I do? I am here in the land of the living and with so many others but yet I feel... alone.
