Oof, my friend got mad

Question

So, me and my friend, we'll call her Annie (that's not her real name.) Anyway, we were sitting at a table of 3 boys during lunch, and towards the end of our thirty-minute long lunch period, the middle boy started banging his hands against the table. Me and Annie continuously told him to stop, but he wouldn't. At some point, he started singing, "make me, make me! C'mon and make me!" It was really annoying, and sometimes the first boy would join. The 3rd graders started to giggle, and when Annie got up and yelled, "Would you just...Stop?!!" The 3rd grade girls started to snicker. Annie glared at them and said, "This is why I don't stand up..." The 3rd graders just said, "Sorry, it was just funny." The boy kept doing it, and Annie was obviously super mad because she then stood up and shouted, "(bad word), shut up!!!!" The boy was like, "You try'in to scare me?" and laughed. It when on like this until the end of lunch. It sucked.

That Boy was an unscientific idiot without an education. It made me mad to read that. >:-(. If I were Annie, I would snitch.

Your friend at the boy sound like they were both in the wrong. The boy obviously shouldn't be doing that to bother other kids, but your friend overreacted. Cussing and yelling, especially in front of 3rd graders, wasn't the right response. If it bothered her so much, she should've just told a teacher or moved, that would've caused a lot less drama.
