Well, if you have limited resources, you will normally have fewer opportunities. A poor family has limited resources, and because of that, they have less opportunities in life, such as going to college.
I suppose they can be unequal too because of charities and government help, so for example, a poor person might be able to receive more scholarship money to go to a good college, which gives them more opportunities.
