Alright, so packs are kinda like wolf families, and they have a social order among the pack. This knda varies depending on what i read, but among them all, alphas (one male, one female per pack usually) are the leaders of the pack, the male especially. Then there is a beta, kind of a second-in command, and would take care of the pack if the alpha were gone for whatever reason. Then i know of Deltas, kinda the same as a beta but deltas are one lower in rank. Omegas are the lowest member in the pack, and usually will take care of pups.Alphas take care of the whole pack, betas take care of the mid-class pack members, and other adults take care of the lower members. Most of the in-between members will hunt and such along with the majority of the pack. Alphas typically eat first after a hunt, and during hunts each member has specific tasks based on different factors such as size, gender, age, and social ranking. Along with packs, there are some wolves who are lone wolves which could have been kicked out of a pack or simply left, or never had a pack. For hunting, wolves usually get small animals such as rabbits, but they prefer bigger animals such as deer or elk.
