Best friend hit me!

Question

So today my “best friend” slapped me across my face TWICE! It started with her fake hitting me but now.. she is literally #### hitting me! And she just yelled out loud the names of ALL my crushes  this year during recess! She says that I’m too easy to get in love ….but her…she should look at herself! She basically kisses boys if she has the chance! And worst of all my brother came out of nowhere and saw her slap me across my face , and he told my mom-and now she dosent want me to talk to her! What do i do? What do i tell her?!?

Even though it's tough, I think your mom is right. If someone, especially your best friend, is physically harming you, then that's a sure sign of a toxic relationship. They also clearly cannot be trusted with important secrets (like your crushes) and are not a good influence. Im so sorry that happened to you and I hope you can resolve the situation!

You mom is right. I was bullied by my bff in kindergarten and now we are just 10% friends. If that much!

It was hard, but I got over it. I wasn’t allowed to do anything with her for a while. She was kicking and hitting me multiple times a day. (Don’t feel sorry for me. This is about you).

All I can say is, she can’t be your bff anymore. Sorry…

Your mom is right. No matter how hard it may be, you should stop talking to this person because they clearly cannot be trusted. I'm sorry this happened to you, and you should consider telling a teacher now or if it happens again.
