Flight!

One day I woke up and my head was in the clouds it only took me a few seconds until I realized I was flying! It was amazing I got down and headed to the news. And Gould them I could fly and showed them they were amazed. Then they let me go on the news to show the world my discovery! Then everyone kept asking me questions on the flight. So I tould them I did not know how it happened at all. But at the end I became famous!

I don't understand what's going on. Is the character  person or a bird. How did he/she/it become famous
