I started writing a fantasy story called Wondering or Worrying. If you want to add on to this story, title your question Wondering or Worrying Part 2. Here is what I have so far:
Introduction
Hello, my name is Ava Fletcher. I have yellow eyes, red hair, and chestnut skin. My birthday is on June twenty-seventh. I am twelve years old and my favorite color is purple (and pink). I am an only child, I don’t feel lonely because I have a dog to play with. My dog is a small, cute, brown, and playful puppy. My favorite foods are ice cream, cookies, and brownies. My mom makes all of them, even ice cream, so delicious!
My mom, dad, and I live in Stoneway. Stoneway is a country in Europe, and it is magical. Stoneway does not have an official language even though there used to be, everyone speaks different languages from different countries in Europe. Everyone that lives in Stoneway is magical in some way. People who live on the borders of Stoneway have to stop all the magic from escaping the bubble. The bubble blocks everyone in the other countries near Stoneway knowing that Stoneway even exists. If they know Stoneway exists then they might go here and discover the magic, which everyone in Stoneway knows is not a good thing. The flag of Stoneway is red, dark blue, and yellow.
There are plenty of schools teaching magic in Stoneway, of course. I happen to attend Crushion. Crushion has four houses, Blinger, Lovey, Himy, and Jum. Blinger’s founder was William (Bill) Blinger, Lovey’s founder was Lola Lovey, Himy’s founder was Henry Himy, and Jum’s founder was Julia Jum. People that are from Blinger are really good at making magic. Lovey is known for the smartness in the house. Himy is famous for its kindness. And people in Jum are always the most likely to make friends. I am in Lovey, and so are my friends Hanna, Leo, and Mathew .
My friends, Hanna Carson, Leo Finer and Mathew Spal have been my friends for three years now. We met on the way to Crushion, for our first year. I remember it so clearly. Hanna was talking to Leo and Mathew, when I asked If I could join them in their Flying box compartment, that’s how you got to Crushion. They had all said yes. When the invisible fairies, they gave out snacks in the flying box, came to offer us food. Hanna, Leo and I asked for Cringwang Crackers, oh how I love those. They said they were all out, but Mathew told us that he brought a few packets in case he got hungry. After that, our friendship began to grow.
Chapter 1
The Murmur
When I went down into the place where everyone eats, I saw Hanna, Leo, and Mathew rush towards me looking worried.
“ What’s wrong?” I ask them. “ You guys look worried. Are you guys okay?”
“ Ava!” Leo says to me. “ We have Flying today after Foodenly . And,and, and-”
Foodenly is the study of magical food. Professor Blimvd teaches it. It is really fun to learn and do. Whenever I am home, I make some of the things that I learned.
“ And Professor Glanworth ’s name is not on the schedule.” Hanna filled in, sounding worried.
“ And, he is not at the Teacher and Staff table.” Mathew pointed out, sounding worried as well.
The person who teaches Flying at Crushion is Professor Glanworth . He is really nice, I mean really really nice. Let’s say you can’t get your body in the air, he will wiggle his eyebrows, that is the most common way to make magic happen, and you’ll be in the air in no time. He is my favorite teacher.
This has happened before, but I have never felt so worried about it before. I wonder what is wrong with Professor Glanworth , of course I know that this is private information, but still what is wrong with Professor Glanworth ? And if he is sick, can Professor Glanworth go to Nolma Adams, the nurse at Crusion, about it?
I don’t have time to worry because I am so hungry. That piece of toast and an egg is starting to look like cake at a birthday party. My hunger must have shone in my face because Mathew gave me two pieces of toast.
After I ate the pieces of toast, the bell started to ring, which signals the start of the next class, everyone rushing to their class.
“ We have Ponaramia in 10 minutes. Let’s go.” Hanna told us, walking towards a group of students at Crushion.
Ponaramia is basically the study of magical creatures here in Stoneway. It’s really fascinating, I sort of like it. Professor Nashela teaches it and constantly reminds us that Ponaramia is named after Granlery Ponomania, a leprechaun that was really famous for his kindness to magical creatures.
“ The animal that we will be studying today are Buju's.” Professor Nashela told the houses Lovey and Jum crowded around her. “ Granlery Ponomania was especially famous for being kind to Buju's.You will all go to page thirty-eight in your book, The Guide to Magical Creatures in Stoneway. ”
Everyone quickly took their book out and flipped to page thirty-eight. The page was very interesting. It says:
Buju's are mushroom shaped creatures. Buju's are very useful, the magic that they make sprays everywhere and that helps Stoneway have it’s magic bubble. As well as the magic that sprays from the Buju's head, poison can spray from a Buju's body, as well, when it feels frightened. Even though they do produce meat, it is not edible. Many people in Stoneway worry that if our magic bubble breaks, people in the non-magical countries will think that the Buju's produce meat that is edible and kill them. And if Buju's are killed, we will not have the magical spray to keep the bubble that keeps the magic in Stoneway. Buju's eat small plants, fish, and animals. They drink tree sap and water. The people of Stoneway should really be thankful for Buju's because they keep the bubble strong. Some people that live in Stoneway’s life depend on Buju's because some people in Stoneway can’t live without the special gas that is trapped inside the magic bubble. Buju's are an endangered creature in Stoneway, the only magical country in the world, and there are only 1,190 left! Some people are afraid of Buju's, if you are scared of Buju's it is called Nyshminola. Most people are afraid of the poison that sprays out of them. But Buju's only spray poison when attacked or when they feel scared. Mostly it is magic that comes out the Buju's heas.It is a common fear to have.
At Salamento, the class that teaches us about magical medicine and how to make them, Professor Blomesdick, the person who teaches Salamento, told us that there is a special ingredient to the medicine that we were making. The special ingredient was Salban.
“ Salban is a root vegetable, but is not edible by itself. The reason why we are using Salban is because it helps Tymes, a sickness that makes you unable to talk for at least a week, the thing that we will learn about today.” Professor Blomesdick said. “ The ingredients that you need are Molab, Dalgod, Hagil, and Nalishi. Molab is a crushed plant, Dalgod is an animal skin, Hagil is a gas that is healthy, and Nalishi is a fungi that is not edible alone.”
The day seems quicker than it really is. I just want to find out if Professor Glanworth is absent. I still wonder why he is absent.
Oh, I almost forgot to tell you that the headteacher at Crushion is very strict. His name is Professor Daniel Walls. Professor Walls is very mean if we cross paths with him at Crushion.
The ones with question marks are ones that we came up with, but don’t think that it is likely. I don’t think Hanna really thinks that the ones with question marks can be true, she has common sense.
At Flying, we saw a man with a long dark mustache. He has dark blue eyes, I think the man looks scary.
” He looks very mean.” Leo whispered to me. “ I wonder who he is.”
“Everyone, My name is Professor Alek Filly . I will be substituting Professor Glanworth .” He told us, in a very mean way, as he started to do a role call. “ Now, get in the air, all of you! I expect to see you at least thirty-five feet above ground, the amount a third year could do, in three minutes!”
I quickly remembered everything Professor Glanworth taught us, and got forty feet in the air and then rose up about five more feet. I could tell Professor Filly was impressed. But he quickly tried to hide the impressed look on his face with a smirk.
“ You are too high, Ms. Carson, get down a little. Mr. Finer, what are you doing so low? Higher! Ms. Fox, you are shaking! Stop it! Ms. Fletcher, I don’t have words for you.” Professor Filly stopped, smiling. “You are a great flyer. Please demonstrate how you do it, some people need to know how to do it properly.” He said the last part glaring at everyone except me.
I hung in the air, wondering why he was all of the sudden so nice. I thought Professor Filly was mean. And him giving me a complement? All of a sudden, I dropped. Falling through the air was like being a bird. When I regained my balance, I continued to stare at Professor Filly with my mouth open slightly.
“Yes, Professor Filly . I will demonstrate how I do it.” I say, trying to sound important as I start to show how I fly. “ First, I screw up my eyes and stand on my tiptoes. Next, I bend my knees and lean backwards slightly. Then, I think of birds. Lastly, I am flying.”
Everyone burst into applause when I finished demonstrating. Then, everyone started to do what I did, even Professor Filly .
“ Why is Professor Glanworth not here? No one told us why he is not teaching today.“ I ask Professor Filly .
" That is private business. None of us know, except Professor Glanworth . That is how it should be." He replied." But, there should be a reason why. Don't go poking around and trying to find out why he is not here. Get back in the air! Now!"
" Sani Gretman" Professor Filly muttered. " I just knew she was behind this."
Why did he say that? I'll tell Hanna, Leo and Mathew later, maybe they can help me.
Bring. Bring. Bringgggg! The next class! I don't want to be late. I could tell Hanna, Leo, and Mathew did not want to be late either. All of us loved the next subject and the teacher, Professor Vilag. She is so nice and she makes learning Stenish fun. Profesor Vilag teaches Stenish which is the study of what we call the "Old Language '' in Stoneway.
" Fi som kakala bi gao vil," Professor Vilag greeted us in Stenish. " Do you remember what it means? It means, I am happy to see you. Today you will write down 15 words in Stenish. Please put their meanings on the paper, too."
I really love learning, writing, and speaking Stenish. I wrote a lot of words with their meanings in Stenish. The words that I came up with are:

When in the Lovey hang-out room, I told Hanna, Leo, and Mathew that Professor Filly had muttered something as we got into the air before the bell rang.
" Who is Sani Gretman?" Hanna asked." And what does she have to do with what Professor Filly muttered?"
" Sani Gretman. I recognise the name. " Leo said. " Where I know the name, I don't know. But I recognize the name from somewhere. "
"After muttering that person's name, Professor Filly said he just knew that she was behind this." I told them.
"Behind what?" Mathew, who was quite the whole time, asked.
"Let's go to bed," Hanna suggested."And then think about this tomorrow."
That night, I lay awake wondering Why Professor Filly muttered that? Who was? And did Professor Filly and Sani Gretman know each other?
Chapter 2
Mysterious Voices
When I woke up, it was still dark out so I checked my watch and it reads 4:54
"So early," I thought. "I'd better go back to bed."
Then I heard an odd eerie noise. And then, voices.
"We don't want to make it sound like we're kidnapping him," A female voice whispered.
"I agree. We need a good distraction. Will one of us dress as a poor beggar and ask for some food while the other takes Daniel Walls. We want to get him out of the way " The male and female said the last word together.
"I suppose. Yes, an excellent distraction. We really should do it." the female asked. ¨Meet you tomorrow, same time? Same place?"
"Same place and time." the male responded, conforming whatever they were saying.
What can they be talking about? The male voice sounds familiar, like some professor a Crushion. Professor Walls? Professor Glanworth? Professor Filly? Porfesor Blomesdick? The female voice was not familiar, though.
Daniel Walls, that's the headteacher of Crushion! Are they going to kidnap him? Why are they? What are they going to do to him?
I should write what I am thinking in my journal. I don't want to forget what I am going to write.
I overheard a male and female talking about kidnapping Professor Walls. It is very hard to understand what they are going to do after they kidnapped him, but I heard that they are kidnapping Professor Walls so they can steal something called the D.T! I wonder what D.T stands for.
