What do you think of these Earings?

My Grandma made it (from my dads side) and then when my cousins came over (from my moms side) My uncle didn't see how these would be pretty so he made a scenario where you were lost in the woods and all you had were these ratings and a knife. It was about how you would use it to sharpen it
