why don't we have jetpacks?

We habe them for military purposes. Some millitary personnel use them

We do not have jet packs because...They are Dangerous and need to be tested, plus they would cost over a million so it wouldn't be like a like having a car. Plus, they have so many things to work out it, you would most likely not live if you tried it with NO experience. It also takes lots of gas! I hope I helped you!   <3

Generally, what we call jetpacks are technically rocket packs, because they work the way rocket engines do: by combing fuel, usually hydrogen, with an oxidizing agent. The chemical reaction produced by the fuel and oxidizer is highly exothermic, meaning it releases copious heat energy. The resulting hot gas shoots downward to provide thrust.

1. Humans are not designed to fly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2. Thrust burns a lot of fuel!!!!!!!!!!!!

4. Rockets and jets are really, really loud!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5. Inefficiency!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We should because it would be a fun and easy way to get around  but then there would be the problem of all the gas or fuel you need. I want one still:)

Because we are regular people who are not experienced with  Jetpacks!It is dangerous!

Jetpack technology is around, but I think it is just not safe enough yet for regular people to use them. Would be fun to use and I'd definitely use it all the time.
