Awkward Tension
"What's going on?" River asked with a smirk. "I honestly don't know!" Nora said with a confused shout. "First he kisses me, then shows up at my dorm holding flowers, and then now another kiss?!" She said fidgeting with her fingers. "Well, it's only going to get more awkward the more you guys don't talk about it..." River said sighing. "Ok, I'll talk to him whenever we start our school project today." Nora said looking down.
Nora and River headed to class, Nora was usually very talkative, but today, she was very quiet. "Hello class. Today I will be explaining the facts and rules of this group project." The teacher said unexcitedly. Nora kept fidgeting with herself and her mind was scattered. Nora wasn't listening to a single thing the teacher was saying...she was wondering how she would talk to Randy. "Ok now, those are all the rules. Be sure to follow them correctly. Ok, class dissmissed." Huh? Class is already over? Man, I didn't hear any of it! Nora had thought

River and Nora sat down at the lunch table waiting for the others. "I didn't hear anything that Ms. Fujiki said!" Nora exclaimed. "I'm sure there will be the rules on the school website." River said calmly. Soon the others showed up... "HeeeyyyYY!" Miles said sliding down the bench. "Where's Randy?" River asked. "He said he was coming. He had to fix his hair, for special someone," Miles said giggling at Nora. "C'mon cut it out. He probably just wanted to fix it, that's all." Later on Randy finally came. "What took you so long?" Miles said with a questioned face. "Oh, sorry. I was getting one of these multi-colored pens for Nora! I know you like to sketch and stuff like that...so I bought you this!" Randy said handing it over. "Randy you shouldn't have..." Nora said with guilt. "It's ok, it was a pleasure!" Anyway see you after school Nora!" Randy said waving. "Oooo someone has a crush!" Miles said childishly. "Oh shut up..." Nora said blushing. "Well see you after school River!" Miles said running away. "Bye!" River said waving.
