Today is my first day of school . I don't know what it's going to be like, but I am sure looking forward to it. This school is supposed to be for people like me, yet I'm nervous to use my gift. My "gift" has caused more trouble than me. I'm crazy.
Will I make friends ? I just have a lo______________
"Queeny !" My mom yelled, Interrupting me and my writing. " You're going to be late for your new school. "
"Okay, Mom !" I, as I got out of my bed, called back." I wonder if it will be different than my old school. " I was still wearing my striped pajamas, and my hair, which looked like a bomb blew up in the back of my hair, was atrocious. I put on a Jean skirt, struggled to put on my starry tank top, and slipped on perrywinkle blue flip flops. I looked in the mirror to decide what I should do with my hair. I caught a glimpse of the alarm clock that lay on the desk beside my bed.
"6:45"
The bus comes in five minutes.
I did the quickest thing that came to mind. A pony tail. I dumped my school books into my backpack, and my lunch was downstairs. I slowed down to turn off the lights. Finally, I said goodbye to my mother, her gentle hands hugging me.
